Hello there. Here are the details of Satanic Dirge's completion... a copy will probably be emailed to Jeremy simultaneously.
The full demo, entitled "Demo", is ready to be shipped to Jeremy for release on Burnt Oak. The reason this one will be called Demo is because it is the only demo, and there are no plans of ever recording another demo, ever. At least not a solid demo that can be contained in mp3 audio files themselves. Bones here, info there, sheet music, what have you... but probably not in a full recorded form until the final product.
It took so long because I had originally planned to "clean up" the production a bit, make it more appealing, etc... yet I realized such an act is blasphemous for black metal. All that work was scrapped, and mixing and mastering began again. In the end, the work became more kvlt, ugly, and more brutal than before. You could say it went through a roughening process. The mastering applied afterwords also gave each song more intensity - and volume - than they had previously held.

I know Jeremy's got a copy of the artwork already, but here it is again. The front and back covers... I believe it is in 300dpi but I can't be too sure. I know it says 2005-2006... Does that need updated to 2005-2007? If so, let me know, and I'll send along an update with the CD. Also, I will try to organize a press sheet that can be sent along with the demo to zines and other locations... The sheet will include a band photo, yet the colors will only be in black and white. I could print up however many you need to include with however many demos you print up. I could print 100 easy, or even more. In fact, I could print them out for other bands too - maybe we could negotiate some special terms for this? :cool: I might also be able to assist with the design of press sheets. All B&W.
At this point, I basically need an address for delivery of the demo. I probably won't send any press sheets to start with because I won't have anything to put on it - the Demo will need reviewed, get some nice words about it, and have that placed on there. And no, I haven't had the band photo made yet either, but I've got some ideas.
